Son Joseph's widow and children (Gottfried, age 14; Dorothea, age 12; Margaretha, age 10; Katharina, age 7) are recorded on the 1798 census of Leichtling in Household No. Lg24.
Gottfried Rekowski and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Leichtling in Household No. 83.
The death of Gottfried Rekowski in 1848 is recorded on the 1850 census of Leichtling in Household No. 48.
Gottfried Rekowski, son of Gottfried Rekowski, and his family moved to the daughter colony of Streckerau in 1865.
